Stuck game

I don't know where you want these bug reports, here on the support ticket system? I always found the ticket easier to use since we can directly upload the files...

This is a stuck game. Large galaxy, 3 clusters, lots of custom races including my own. Late game grinding.

I can reproduce it, so far.

Upon changing turn, I play my moves and the game gets stuck... somewhere. It's during an AI move, there's 4 races left to conquer.
I don't do anything special, just move my fleets around (not the same fleets the second time), so it's really something the AI does that result in this bug.

The first time, I accepted the peace offer from the race named E.O., so I suffered no invasion and the game got stuck with fleet movement notification. The second time, I chose to pursue war and was invaded, maybe by this race, maybe another one, but I'm stuck on the invasion notification.

Fantastic! I've confirmed access. to ask some follow up questions, are you by chance using any mods with the game, and what version are you updated to?

- Version 2.6. Steam is set to auto-update.

- Mods, yes. I have multiple custom races and ships/fleets.

- Supplemental mods: the mod manager only shows "example mod". Though I'm certain I did install mods before. Maybe they got deleted when I verified files from Steam?

Your game sounds like a big challenge! Maybe try different strategies during the turn to see if it still gets stuck.

Yeah, I only tried 2 turns with different things. I might try something else to see how the AI reacts. It might be one of my survey ships too, I'll cancel their auto movements to see how it goes.

On a side not, I gave the Mimot all my techs so they would declare war to the E.O. race a few turns before. So now, they have turned against me and they are really tough to beat when I don't have my best fleets around

Lesson learnt: Do not trust the cute ones!

Insider's patch.

Same save game as before, same turn.

Still stuck when I hit turn, possibly a little further along though. Right after a battle involving Peleus fleet III.
