I received a popup notice that there was an update for Start 11 v2, so I clicked and applied it. Just like the previous times I've done this in the past, the app then fails to work. The Settings menu comes up, and everything looks OK, but the taskbar doesn't change from the default Windows 11. This also happens with Groupy updates. I then have to got to Startdock.com and download the current version, and install it over the supposedly updated but not not working installation. Then it works.
Is there someway to avoid this problem, other than not updating, or just installing from download directly?
Will Stardock ever fix this update problem?? It has been true for months or more on several versions of Start 11 and Groupy.
Also, part of the Windows 11 taskbar icons are no longer available when Start 11 is installed and working -- specifically the weather and MSN news icon.
