This is cool!! I just discovered that Start11 V2.07 actually has the cascading "All Programs" menu that I had requested in the past... I'm using Windows 10 Pro, and WindowBlinds V10.89. I open Start11, right-click "All Programs", and select "open as a menu" ... and HUZZAH!! I have a cascading Programs Menu, as I've been requesting for some time... (I'm using Windows 7 style for Start11).
However, it has a few quirks that I'm hoping I can configure:
1. I'm accustomed to folders being listed *before* individual files; this menu has them all shuffled together... Is this option configurable somewhere?? I have "Place folders at the bottom of the list" selected, which is default, but this option does not appear to work in the cascading Programs menu - in fact, enabling/disabling this option has no effect that I can see.
2. The cascading menu is not being sized to the screen properly; I have multiple columns (limited to 3, apparently), and I still have to scroll up/down with mouse wheel to see the entire menu(s)... This isn't the end of the world, but it is awkward... can I change maximum # of columns somewhere, so that the entire menu will be visible onscreen?
My monitor is 30", 2560x1600 ...
3. I don't seem to be able to set the AllPrograms menu colors; it is defaulting to white FG, black BG...
Is this configurable somewhere? I would like it to follow the colors on the desktop popup, or at least just let me set the colors... The absence of this option is especially odd, considering that I have the option to set the menu font and size, which is very nice!!
I tried disabling "use automatic color for the start menu", and selecting my own color with "Pick color...", but that seems to just give me black FG, white BG, which is even worse than the default...
4. I don't get right-click menus on any of the items in the cascading menu... is that really expected behavior??
