I am experiencing some extremely odd behavior on a tablet computer.

Computer
- Windows 11 Home Insider Preview (system reset 1 December)
- Version 22H2 build 23595.1001
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8650U CPU @ 1.90GHz 2.11 GHz with 16GB RAM
Installed Stardock applications
- Start11v2
- Fences
- Multiplicity
With an attached mouse or using Multiplicity with a mouse from my primary computer:
- Start Button works as expected.
- Clicking an item on the Task Bar works normally.
- Clicking a collapsed app on the task bar restores normally.
Using touch screen:
- Start Button usually does not work. Occasionally it does, but never on the first tap.
- Clicking an item on the Task Bar opens two (sometimes three) instances of the app.
- Clicking a collapsed app on the task bar restores and immediately collapses.
As a result, the computer is unusable as a tablet. Proper operation occurs only when I use either a local mouse or a remote mouse via Multiplicty.
I have spent hours over the weekend trying to troubleshoot this, but I haven't been able to find anything.
Some observations:
- Disabling custom start button sometimes restores normal operation. Not reliably repeatable.
- Disabling Start11 usually (but not always) restores normal operation.
- Switching between Start left/Task Bar center, left aligned, and center aligned sometimes has an effect, but is also not repeatable.
