There are certain items on my start menu that I am unable to delete, move &/or copy to the folder of my choice (folders I have manually created on my start menu).
I cannot delete, move or copy these certain items when I right click & go to "Open All Users" directory. After opening "Open All Users" directory (C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs), I used to be able to drag those items from the start menu to this directory & then put them where I wanted. But Start11 does not allow me to do this. It's like the program wants these items to stay permanently in my start menu lineup.
For example, I cannot delete, move or copy the following items on now on my start menu:
- Camera -- I want to move Camera into a folder I call "Photos & Videos" -but Start11 will not allow me to move, copy or delete this item!
- Windows Security -- I want to move this item into a folder I call "Security" --but, again, no way!
- Ditto for: NVIDIA Control Panel & B&O Audio Control.
- It appears this problem applies to only those items that are automatically installed by Microsoft. I do not have this problem for any software I have installed myself. For any software I installed myself, I AM able to delete, move or copy those items to wherever I want in my start menu.
I do not have this problem with Open-Shell on my Windows 10 PC nor have I ever had this kind of problem before Start11.
Please help! This is a deal-breaker kind of problem!
And, thank you!
