Hello all,
The recent change that allows constructors to operate without a citizen was an incredible buff for the Yor. Because the Mimots were also heavily nerfed, the Yor went from being easily the worst civ to arguably the best.
Here is why:
The constructor change means the Yor not only save durantium, but they can also get an early constructor out much faster/more consistently. This means they have extra durantium to go around. They also have extra population available for settling planets. Combine these factors with Extreme Automation, the amazing policy exclusive to Synthetic races that gives +50% manufacturing, and you get an economy that is one incredibly well-oiled machine. There is also practically limitless potential because you don't need to worry about pollution or food shortages, you can dedicate all your tiles to manufacturing and science and just strip mine if you need to.
I've been playing the Yor on incredible and the game just feels like a breeze.
I was wondering what other people's experience with the Yor has been since the new update. Are the Yor the new Mimots?
