Window list only single line

Hi,

very often I have a lot of windows of the same type open. With Windows 10, I got a list of all the windows that were open and I could choose which window I wanted to activate. Now with Windows 11 I only get a single line where I can use down or up arrows to display and activate the next or previous window as you can see here:

This is an absolute horror, because it takes forever to find the right window. Is it not possible to display a list of ALL windows again at this point instead of working with arrows?

Or is it another one of the stupid innovations of Windows 11?

I sincerely hope that something can be done.

Best regards
Bjoern

The problem still exists in the latest version -> 2.03.

The next problem is that the taskbar shows the wrong icons on the pinned programms after a while. (Explorer shows the icon from Outlook or Outlook has the icon from Total Commander and so on). It only works normal after a restart. Sorry, have currently no screenshot.

And after the update to the 2.03 the klick on the "sleep mode" runs the programm that is shown in the background. The second click is okay, but the first one often not.

This should have been resolved in 2.02

11/17/2023

  • Start11 Config version updated to 2.0.2.0 (2.02 in UI)

  • Resolved issue with shutdown and signout menus in Win10 style sometimes losing focus to what is under them

There is a new beta version available if you're interested. Beta 2.04 which is available in your downloads.

I don't believe Windows 11 allows multi-line taskbars. Your suggestion was forwarded to the dev team by Basj on June 16, 2023. You probably won't receive any feedback on this request. I also don't think there is anything they can do about this with the Windows 11 restriction, which is why they implemented the down arrow feature.
