Thank you very much for the amazing work that you have done in the game. I wanted to make this post just to make sure that some things I have paid attention to, won't be overlooked. I know balance is not a serious priority at the moment and many things are subject to change but despite that fact having it nailed might make it easier for you when adjusting the game.
I wanted to address Titan balance late-game (more particularly the Ankylon as I played many 5 hours + games with it).
Armor :
Currently the Ankylon starts at 324 armor and reaches 354 at level 10. This means it receives less than 4 armor per level. For reference a capital ship starts at 200 armor at level 1 and reaches 400 armor level 10. That means that as of right now a capital ship at level 10 has more armor than a titan at level 10 which surely shouldn't be the case.
My suggestion: Increase titan armor gain per level significantly so that a titan starting with 324 armor will have 600-620 armor at level 10.
Hull points: Ankylon starts with 16900 hull at level 1 and ends up at 21 000+ at level 10. That is 25% increase or slightly more for whole 10 levels.
My suggestion : I think hull value per level should be increased slightly so that it ends up at 24 000 hull or so at level 10.
Furious defense ability : current heal value is 60 in enemy territory and 90 in friendly. Those values might be very powerful in the old game where ships had 3 times less overall hull points but in this game where a titan can reach 40 000 -50 000 hull , 60 hp/ sec is low.
My suggestion : Increase furious defense heal value from 60 > 75 and from 90 > 115 (friendly territory).
Shield surge ability : Shields drop very quickly late game and the personal shield restore for the Ankylon himself (not for other ships which I believe is quite ok) can be slightly increased.
My suggestion : Increase shield surge value for the Ankylon from 2000 to 2500 and when in friendly territory from 2500 to 3125.
Of all these addressed I believe the armor issue seems to be the most prominent.
Also : Ankylon and Ragnarov currently have the same identical amount of armor. I believe if Ankylon armor is increased to 600-620 at level 10, a Ragnarov should have noticably lower. (450-500 maximum). Ankylon is a full tank titan while Ragnarov is a damage titan and should have lower armor.
I think these changes are necessary because if not implemented a level 10 Kol battleship that has 450 armor and 50% damage reduction ability turns out to be more durable than a level 10 Ankylon titan lol. In every late-game battle the Ankylon will almost always be a focus of the enemy to kill first and because of that it must feel way more durable than now. In the current situation of the game when you field an Ankylon you are absolutely forced to spend a whole 3 component slots for the reinforced hull (and even then it is squishy). If we see these changes that I proposed you won't be pushed to have max level reinforced hull and you will be able to choose components for your titan in a more strategic way. And if you prefer to have your titan be an absolute monster of a BRICK then going for the 3 armor components will push it to 900 + armor (600 at level 10 and 300 bonus from the components) which will make your titan truly durable with very low damage though to compensate.
