Win 11 Pro, 22H2, 1/2/23, 22621.1413 HP Zbook

I updated Fences yesterday- after I received an update e-mail.  It apparently installed correctly after reboot and my desktop looked the same.  Today when I started my computer all Fences were gone.  I opened the program and got an error message "Fences' Preferences experienced an error, please try again. "  with about 12 lines after that.  I dismissed the error and it closed the program and I have been unable to reopen Fences Settings either from the icon, from right click on the desktop or from the start menu.  The Fences remain in place and continue to act normally except I can not change my prferences

I do not see a way to post the screen shot.  It says things like "System.NullReferenceException:Object reference is not set to an instance of an object"
