I am presently running Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 Build 22621.1344 up until this latest patch I was able to apply a Taskbar background texture, immediately after this update this has stopped working..
I am running a two monitor system with the Taskbar only on the primary display, it is running as a Windows 7 style menu with a custom start button and did have the texture in the background of the taskbar but now does not..
I have removed display fusion which I used to snap windows to specific displays automatically on opening but this has made no difference, I uninstalled Start11 removing all settings in the process and then reinstalled it, this did not help either.
I have added an image in which you can see I have added quite a nasty looking texture and colour which shows that the texture and colour are only being applied around the start button and a very small area to the right of the Systray and not the whole of the Taskbar.
2nd Edit, it appears I can not over ride the colour of the Windows Desktop theme on the Taskbar ARGGHHH it's burning my eyes out with it's brightness.
And another edit : I suppose this means we are going to be screwed over when it comes to customization now?
Microsoft breaks everything

Fixed thanks to the new version, this is what it looks like normally for reference.
