Problem with Start11 Taskbar after todays Windows 11 Pro Update

Start11 Version 1.39.1

I am using the latest version 1.39.1 of Start11.

After todays Windows 11 Update (2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5022913) my Start11 taskbar is all screwed up:

As you can see from the image above:

The taskbar (set for small size) is now cut off at the bottom, and distinctly shows this on both left and right-hand side with the start button and date being cut off.

I've tried resetting and redoing the taskbar in Start11 but cannot fix the problem.

Any advise on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Bonjour. Suite à la mise à jour de Windows 11 pro moment 2 (KB5022913) toutes les icônes  situées dans la partie droite de la barre de tâche ne s'affiche plus. par exemple Descapes, Imprimantes, Cursor FX, Gdata VPN, GData, Périphériques Bluetooth etc. En supprimant la mise à jour KB5022913 tout redevient normale.

The taskbar transparency feature no longer works after KB5022913 is applied. They added a new search to the taskbar. Perhaps that is part of the problem I turned off the search on the taskbar but there is still no transparency. Adjusting it in the Start11 settings has no effect now.

After a week of absence, I had to install first an update to Start11 and immediately after that an update (KB5022913) to Windows 11 on two of my Pcs.

After reboot, my system tray was invisible on both PCs, but by blindly clicking on the left side of the taskbar I was able to start the application from the tray. To check what was wrong I set Start11 Let Start11 enhance the taskbar to off and the taskbar started to behave as expected. So I thought that something went wrong during the Start11 update install. Reinstalling Start11 did not help. So I uninstalled the KB5022913. Taskbar started acting normally.

On Stardock forums, I saw that more people are having similar issues and you suggested a post where an early build of Start11 which tries to fix the issues is offered. So I reinstalled the MS KB5022913 and installed the Start11 1.4 297 build.

 

Even with that build, there are some issues but with the left-aligned medium-size taskbar (which I normally use) icon positions are normal and the tray is visible again. With small and large taskbars all bets are off (and it also depends if the taskbar auto-hide is off or on).

So I can live with my usual settings until the fix will be ready.

J'ai installé la version 1.4 de Start 11 puis la mise à jour KB5022913 et pour le moment tout fonctionne correctement. J'ai retrouvé toutes les icônes de la barre de tache. Problème résolu. Merçi.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. There is Start11 V1.4.0.2 just released few hours ago please update to that version and retest your issue. Report back here. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
