There used to be a way to skin the start menu part of a Curtains theme. Such as a highlight or a glassy effect that hovers over a icon or text on the start menu, etc. In the most recent version of Curtains, those features appear to have disappeared. I wonder why... ?
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. Which Curtains version you're referring? And you on Windows 10 or 11? Need to know full version numbers. Use Winver.exe
Thanks.Basj,Stardock Community Assistant.
Hello. I am using Windows 10, version 1903. And the Curtains version I have is 1.19.1. Thanks!
Do you have Start10 or Start11 install in the system?

Start 11.........is what I am using.
Please post screenshots of your Start11 startpanel so we can understand your issue better.
Stardock Community Assistant.
There are several screens that I can post, or screenshots of various windows or screens of Start11. But I need to know what is meant by start panel. Is that the first window where you make a choice for win 7, or win 10 or win 11 style start menu's, etc.? I can try one screen..........
The version of Start11 I am using is 1.36.
Something like screenshot below and point the area where you want to change. And I can try to help you to change if it possible in Curtains.
On the screen where it says start 10 menu, there should be a few more items that used to be there, where I could add a hover color over a text and stuff like that......now missing................It was there when I ran this exact same software on my laptop. I deactivated that license, so I could run this on my desktop............very strange.
Have you tried to turn on the advance option?
