I use a few registry tweaks to get some of the Windows 10 features back including the taskbar. My question is, has anyone here used registry tweaks with WB11 & if so have you had any issues related to it?
Hello,
I don't use any registry tweaks on my system. So, I can not answer you. Hopefully someone who has, might come along and answer you.
ThanksBasj,Stardock Community Assistant.
WB11 will work fine with explorer patcher since that just re-enables a bunch of 10 stuff. If you turnoff immersive context menus, it will re-enable the classic windows 7/8 right click menus that would be skinnable via windowblinds. I would not rely on that program for to long as microsoft may eventually block those tweaks from happening. I have windows 7's command bar feature in explorer. Seems to skin fine with WB11.
I don't use any program, just some tweaks found here on AskVG. I'm going to assume that it's pretty much the same thing though?
yes, any tool or tweaks that bring back 10's stuff should be fine under wb11, though keep in mind that they may eventually break if microsoft decides to axe them. I prefer explorerpatcher since its just a service and does not mess with the OS like a registry edit would do.
Ok. Thanks for the info.
