Fences 4 not displaying Windows 11 application shortcuts

Fences 4.0.72, Windows 11 22H2

When creating a desktop shortcut to the target location "Applications", Fences will not display it. It is available in the Desktop folder in Windows Explorer, but does not show on actual desktop. It appears that when shortcut "Target Type" is not Application then it will not show.

No other Stardock software installed, and PC is freshly installed.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But can you post more details.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version number. Please use Winver.exe to get that.
  2. Need your Fences 4 full version number.
  3. How do you create the desktop shortcut? Details out the steps.
  4. If it does not show up on your actual desktop when Fences disable, than highly likely it will also not show up when Fences enable.

I already posted my versions in the subtitle, but here it goes again. 

Fences 4.0.72, Windows 11 22H2 (OS Build 22621.819)

In fact there are two shortcuts that do not display. The shortcut to MS Flight Simulator is created by going into the Xbox app, right-clicking on the game and choosing "Create desktop shortcut". The shortcut to the JA-100-Link application was created by the program installer, and there is nothing strange with that particular shortcut.

The shortcuts are displayed on the desktop when Fences are disabled. Check the following two screenshots where the two non-displayed files are highlighted:

Hello, I have similar problems with other stardock software that have not worked for several months on Windows 11, and so far I have not found a solution... I use object desktop to install them but only a few are working. Also they don't appears in my Stardock account so I'm worried.
