I actually like the system they have setup in regard to Caps. It forces the player to be more careful with their CAP in the early game and so far, having to wait that long to get more Caps hasn't hindered my game at all. Of course, that could change as we get more stuff to test and maybe some different maps.
I like the idea of exotics as an extra currency and as long as the AI has the same constraints, I'm cool with it.
I think your notes will change dramatically once human multiplayer is introduced. It will all come down to Capital ship sniping, because you won't be able to replace it, you effectively will just lose a major asset of your military, and will be crippled, easy picking for the remaining players to kill.
