Are you saying that after you update video drivers you have never had to do anything to any app on your PC? Are you also saying that - without exception - every single time you update your video drivers you have issues with Fences?
Neither has been steadfast in our experience.
I've had other minor impacts from driver updates, sure. For example, if I have a very large non-fullscreen window open when installing a driver update, it'll resize down during the screen resolution reset, and not resize back up. But normal windowed apps aren't supposed to automatically adjust up when the screen resolution increases, so that's not a bug, it's just how non-fullscreen window management works in Windows.
More to the point, yes, Fences screws up its locations every single time I update my video drivers since getting a monitor with a resolution higher than 1920x1200. Since the resultant size appears to match something on the order of 1920x1200, it's not surprising that it would not have had this problem with a smaller monitor.
So that means either something hidden-and-not-user-changeable in my Fences configuration is stuck based a previous configuration from a number of years ago (a bug), or Fences is set up to somehow have a maximum resolution that it'll scale back up to after a resolution decrease (a bug; but seemingly much less likely given that this isn't being reported by everyone with monitors larger than 24")
