Prior to the update to 22H2 I had Start11 working pretty well with the taskbar on the top and autohide on. It occasionally had glitches like 1) having windows on top of the taskbar when accessing it, 2) not always unhiding when pointer touched it and 3) not always positioned properly (taskbar did not always touch the top of the screen but showed up a centimeter below it with the icons repositioned and window's menu button missing (BTW - restart explorer fixed this).
I could live with these thing (annoying, but not a show stopper) since they were intermittent issues or had workarounds. Have faith in stardock for resolution as the star11 matured (understand these are "growing pains").
Also WIn 11 is a moving target as well - still evolving...
Looks like with 22H2 there is a new feature when dragging a window to the top:

It allows you to take a window and reposition it on your desktop...

This may be a showstopper for having a taskbar also on the top....
Curse Microsoft for making me change how I used to do things before Win 11.......hopeful that Start11 will make Win 11 for configurable.
