Having the same issue. Have to end game and reload. Then after a few turns the same problem pops up

Yep, happens every time, also have to restart the game to see the cut off part. Any solutions yet? Dev comments to that bug?

Same for me as tedhebert.

The trigger for me is clicking on an advisor message (e.g. "The citizens of planet are unhappy."), seeing a black screen (briefly flashes with a generic planet template before going black, other than the very top bar). I can only exit that screen by clicking on the tech research in the top left.

Next time I click on a planet, the left hand menu doesn't expand fully (as per the first screenshot). 

If I go through the same process again, the left hand menu doesn't appear at all (perhaps it is even further off to the left!).

Running at 1920x1280.  Have same problem, although the left side of the screen is partially (about 10%) visible.   One of the build icons is partially visible, so I can click on it and it will go into the colony build queue.   Has happened on every game I have played.  Appears after I put down the third governor. 

Curiously, it seems to be behaving better today.  perhaps the update helped. 

Haven't seen it today at all, although I have been focusing on figuring out the ship designer.  I made a breakthrough which I think could be made much clearer on the designer.  In the upper righthand corner is a total of modules used.  You have so many modules allowed per size of ship.   It doesn't go by weight as GC3 did, just by how many.   So you can compare what module is best on a 1:1 basis, not  by how much weight you have left.

Simpler, but making the choices more interesting imo.  Sorry for the aside.  I will post if this bug rears its ugly again.

Same here.

This hit me again early in the game.  I saved the game, reloaded, and I was able to access the planet screen correctly for one turn.  Then it came back.  The first time I got the left side pushed over about 90%  so very little at the bottom of the lefthand screen was visible.  After a reload and one good display, when I tried to access the planetary screen again the left-hand side was totally gone.  I guess I should wait for version 80 to go live, and then report.
