I've just bought start11 but for some reason I keep getting this error. Has anyone come across this same issue?
I have tried running it in admin mode, compatibility mode and I've tried installing other programs and they don't give me this error.
I'm on windows 11 pro build 21H2.

Thanks for the quick reply, unfortunately I cannot install it at all. When i click on the setup.exe I get that message
Are you installing the latest version from your account which
was just updated .
Tried installing with a different browser ?
If needed run a Purge first.
Reboot and ReInstall the latest version again from your account page https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/
Reboot , test .

Okay so I ran the purge and restarted twice, made sure that my prefetch was empty and downloaded the install from my account on firefox/edge/chrome and the problem is still there. When I double click on Start11_setup_sd.exe i get that error message preventing me from installing. What I am doing is deleting the exe and emptying the trash, run purge, restart, download, install and get error.

Try creating a new Admin account and installing under it:
If it works, it will also be installed under your normal account.
