Seen a few older posts on this. I know Fences 4 is being made but thought I should mention whats happening for me in 3.
I have been getting ALOT of explorer crashes over several months. I thought it was something else but at a whim i disabled fences and all my issues went away. I have seen people mention a pop-up that says "Fences has detected that Explorer was not closed properly" yet I dont get that prompt.
Im having crashes happen commonly with folders that contain .wav or .ogg audio files. Also folders with .webp files. Tho generally across the board its just been terrible. Also had alot of video "hangs" when watching streaming while the audio continues.
So far that to has all gone away with fences closed, tho i have not watched enough streaming to 100% sure of the streaming issue
When the issue happens, explore crashes and restarts, sometimes it wont restart and I have to reset my pc. On occasions fences with crash at the same time and restart, sometimes it wont restart.
Any steps to resolve the issue would be great. I did see something about Purging and re-installing but thought I would mention in the issue in case its something you want to know about.
Thanks!
