I use this already created topic for an another annoying bug.

I use Start 11 v1.47 on a laptop with a screen resolution of 1920x1080, and also have an external monitor with the resolution of 3440x1440.

My Start 11 configuration of the taskbar is "Center aligned" :

When I boot the laptop plugged to the external monitor, the taskbar is well center aligned.

If I unplug the external monitor and open the lid of the laptop, the taskbar is shift to right :

The issue is similar if I boot the laptop unplugged from the external monitor. The taskbar is center aligned :

But when I connect the monitor, the taskbar is somehow left aligned :

Is it possible to handle monitor resolution change and trigger taskbar alignment ?

Thanks for your answer.
I confirm that restarting explorer.exe trigger the alignment. But as I configured explorer.exe to open each window in its own process, the batch file has to find the "main" explorer process.


Please tell me when you are able to reproduce the issue.

Thanks for you script. It restart the "explorer.exe" process for the taskbar, but also the processes of the "file explorer" windows I opened.

It's not the best user experience. Thanks for forwarding the issue for a fix.
