Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try the purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/485903/windowfx-support-faq#reinstalling . Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purge, reinstall using the latest downloaded version. Reboot again. and retest. Report back here.
If you still have issue after the purge and reinstall. Need to know.
1) Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.
2) WindowFX version.
