Try this one : Go into the Nvidia control panel (right-click on the Nvidia icon in the taskbar tray and select the Nvidia control panel > Manage 3D settings > Program Settings Tabs. Find CursorFX, if CursorFX is not listed you will probably have to add manually. Once that is done.
Under 2. Select the preferred graphics processor for this program it will tell you which graphics processor the program is using. It will probably be your integrated one as was my case. If it is, select the High-performance NVIDIA processor. It solved most of the lag, although not so much the GPU use. At least it makes the GPU use worthwhile.
Try that and report back.
