I don't know what it's supposed to look like, but as far as I can tell I'm not seeing it either. That's on integrated Intel graphics.

While I was poking around in the themes directory I happened to notice that there is no Ghost Trail.CursorFX file, unlike the other trails which have a file. I thought I'd mention it in case that's the problem (but if it is, you guys have probably already figured that out).

FYI, you can get some of this functionality by enabling it in Win10 additional mouse settings:
Awesome! I was having the same problem and quite disappointed that Ghost Trails didn't work. You should see the BIG smile on my face now! Surprising that it never occurred to me to make such a simple check.
