WEAKNESS IN CursorFx 4

so i have found the chink in cursorfx4 amor.  so when windows has  its mouse settings increase than more than 1 point of default settings in the following location:

 

windowskey + I  >>> Settings>>Ease of Access>>Mouse Pointer>> change pointer size.   

when the size is changed.......cursorfx animation becomes blotchy and non crisp smooth.

try for yourself and see.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I can't change my CursorFX size at all using your method. I can change the size using the CursorFX actual size changers. Refer below screenshot.

On issues on the cursor lost its sharpness, my guess is, that what you will get if you stretch the graphics bigger than it actual size.

Sorry, that is not where I am making reference.  I know that cursorfx can resize.  I am speaking of windows settings affecting the product.  Change Cursor Size

The moment the size shifts from 1, and CursorFX is active.  The cursor fx cursors especially those that have normal pointer with animation, has a look of it glitching very rapidly.

Yes as the size in increased, the cursors do loose the sharpness.  Not sure why it needs to be that way.  Cursor display should remain, in my opinion, same level of sharpness regardless the size being asked of it.

Technically, reply 6 was follow up.  Simply go back to the windows settings, set things to default, then use CursorFX.

 

As for the enlarged cursor losing sharpness, it has always been that way.  In my experience, other than vector files, most images do lose sharpness upon enlarging.

The version 2.16 was not affected by resizing cursors from the ease of access panel of windows 10.

I have always seen somewhat fuzzy/blurred cursors upon enlarging. Depending on how large. Even on 2.16.

CursorFX offers its own scaling function.  You don't need to use the OS one so set that back to default and use the CursorFX one and the problem will be gone.

The windows size cursor did not interfere with CursorFX, no matter the size.  Could use the crtl-shift+c with great joy and saw the renderings.  I see no one has tried or tested what my forum is making reference to.  

Try for yourselves. Have cursorfx running then increase as my screen shot showed the size of the windows mouse pointer size.
