There is a bug in Chrome.

It was before and after the update to the latest version.

I have also tried reinstalling.

Moving tabs in Chrome will behave abnormally.

When I open a Chrome window, the size changes randomly.

It looks like a bug in program instance processing.

I would like the developer to test it. Windows 10 is the latest build.

Thanks.

Okay, here it is.

Some of the bugs are that when you see a small window in Chrome, it is automatically grouped, causing the entire window to become smaller.

And even though you enable the 'Group only windows of the same kind' option, other types of programs are sometimes grouped together.

Thanks for the information. I can't reproduce the problem on my Groupy Chrome. Can you see if that behavior also occurs when you run Chrome in "incognito mode"

Thank you,

Hello,

I'm having same-ish bug here with chrome windows.

Basically if I have several Chrome windows in one Groupy,
then after unknown trigger, if I try to move Chrome tabs between themself it will rapidly switch between Chrome windows...

I tried same in incognito mode, and it triggered there too, after bit of coaxing and switching between those chrome windows, unfortunatelly I didn't have recording up, nor I managed to re-trigger. Another variation(?) of the bug popped up though on another try, here: https://puu.sh/DbGCC/1f6f620ba9.mp4 (note the tabs switching from B to A)

Fun fact: if a Groupy window has incognito windows + one normal, then it will simply eject the window as shown here: https://puu.sh/DbGEg/3b03790542.mp4

In my normal usage, this bug triggers everytime I try to move chrome tab. Also of note might be, that this doesn't happen if 2 Chromes are just stacked on top of each other, only if they are in same Groupy window.

TL;DR: same bug, yes triggered in incognito too (needed a few switches between them), triggered a variation on video

The reason I suggested with "incognito mode" is that, in incognito mode, all your add-on is disabled. When you said it happened when you add incognito with normal mode, it shows that possibility of one or more of your chrome add-on having compatibility issue with Groupy. From your videos, you have a few add-on enabled on your normal chrome.

Anyway, I have forwarded your problem to Stardock Support team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Just curious if this issue is completely avoided if you use conditional grouping:

I am not saying it does not need to be looked at, I just want to know if the issue does not happen if conditionals are enabled.

Should have said about the extensions sooner :P

Retook the video, now in incognito mode only, and with disabled extensions (as some of them were enabled in incognito) here → https://puu.sh/DbLlI/c32edbfe9e.mp4

You can see it took a bit of setup, but all I did was open / close tabs and moving them around.

1. in first part of video you can see any tab I grab instantly jump to first window, instead of currently active window
2. 2nd part should be fairly obvious (at 1:04 for the lazy): tab jumping between currently active window and the first one

@sdRohan: I have conditional grouping active actually during all of these - the right mouse button version of it. Needless to say I didn't press RMB during any of the videos.

These are my settings on that page:

I can also replicate this in Chrome with all of my extensions disabled / in Incognito mode.

It may be an update that Chrome made that is causing the issue.  The Dev team is aware and looking at it - thanks for the feedback.
