Hi new Fallen Enchantress: LE (2.4) player here

I've done the tutorials and had a few goes at the 'New Game' random map setting. I've even started (but not finished) the first 'Scenario'.

However i recently noticed i could play a 'New Game' setup using the Anthys map (large), but the factions seem to all start in random places? I picked Warlord Verga, Magnar, Oracle Ceresa, Kulan and Emperor Karavox for the 'Fallen side' and Queen Procipinee, Lord Relias, Lord Markin and Lady Irane for the 'Empire side' with my playing as General Carrodus.

I realize that is quite crowded for a Large map (and the default other player count is 6 vs my 9) but i was sort of hoping they would all start out in the places relevant to the map?

Anyway is there a way to play a game where the factions do start in their correct positions on the Anthys map? Maybe i'm just looking at a wrong option here.
