if you don't want to run batch files of suspicious nature, you can just press Win+R and paste into appeared dialog this command -
reg add HKCU\Software\Stardock\Settings /v SupressAutoUpdate /t REG_DWORD /d "0"
it will make a registry key which will prevent Fences 3 from checking for available updates.
No doubt you got that from the batch file so you know what is in it and can see there is nothing 'suspicious' in it.
