Where are themes stored
Themes are stored in:
\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\CursorFX\Themes\
Previews are not showing for some cursors
If some of the old cursors previews don't show
- Close CursorFX config
- Delete the \Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\CursorFX\Themes\Preview folder.
- Open CursorFX config - may take a little time to populate
How do I temporarily disable CursorFX?
Ctrl+Shift+C, to temporarily disable CursorFX.
CursorFX wont change from the current theme
Please copy the following into Windows Explorer and delete what ever is there. Then open CursorFX and see that CursorFX package has been removed.
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Stardock\CursorFX
CursorFX is crashing
Most problems with CursorFX can be attributed to a bad theme. Try removing or moving the themes from the following location:
7\8\10:
\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\CursorFX\Themes
and delete CurrentTheme.CursorFX from:
\Users\YourWindowsAccuntName\AppData\Local\Stardock\CursorFX

If you see dual Cursors, one over top another, after a Windows 10 update, run the 'Purge and Re-install' on this page.
Purge and Re-install
The following tool will purge the application for a possible re-install (if that is the goal).
**IMPORTANT** Please save any open documents/work and close out all of your applications including browsers. Your PC may restart after running this .bat file.

Save the file to your desktop, right click it and select "Run as Administrator" if you're on Vista/7/8/8.1/10

If you are running Windows 8/10, you may be notified that Windows is protecting your PC. Select "More info" and then "Run anyway".
Reboot the computer and reinstall the application. It is important to get the most recent version of the application.
