Like the other shows on CBS and Fox on Sunday nights during the NFL season, they end up getting pushed back by 10 - 45 minutes almost every week. I used to pad my Tivo Season Passes to account for it. But then you have to also record any shows you don't want to cover the overlap. Made it all to messy, now I just don't watch Fox or CBS shows scheduled on Sunday nights.
I say fuck em if they can't be bothered to either:
a: properly schedule the time it takes for an NFL game these days. It is no longer an aberration to go almost 4 hours, it is almost a regular thing, and they ALL run over their scheduled time.
b: Schedule an hour long show in between the end of NFL games and the beginning of their Sunday night programming that they wouldn't mind cutting all the time out of due to over runs of the NFL games. It could be a post game show that wraps up all the Sunday games played, it could be re-runs from whenever or the previous week, anything they don't mind putting on the time chopping block rather than delaying a whole nights worth of programming. EVERY. WEEK.
*on topic*: Watched the first episode (it aired on time!) and thought it was OK, certainly not great. Was going to watch the second but as soon as I saw I had already fast-forwarded to almost the first 15 minutes in and still hadn't seen any show, I knew I wasn't going to watch it only to need to go looking for the last portion of it via app or whatever.
(Nope, Tivos still don't have On-Demand! Sadly, the cable companies still leave that locked to their own devices for now. Even though they could easily enable any properly designed device/software to access the same systems as their pile of crap DVRs and Set-top boxes.)
