Reverting back to icons after setting lists post connecting from a projector

Recently received a new computer, had to download Fences again. Got everything set up as I like them with folder portals and list view rather than icons, but once I connected and/or disconnected from a second monitor, they revert back to Icons. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Can you provide some more details?  I am trying to reproduce and failing.

  1. I am using Win10 Spring Creators (Build 1703) and Fences 3.0.5.12
  2. Install Fences
  3. Create a new fences and set it for List view
  4. I add a second monitor and noting happens in regards to Fences.
  5. I move one of the normal fences and the list view portal folder to the second monitor
  6. I then disable the second monitor and the two fences over there move back to monitor 1
  7. Enable monitor 2 and the fences move back.
  8. List view is still in place.
  9. Reboot and run through the same tests . . . no change

Thanks for the information. I tried all of those steps listed above, uninstalled, reinstalled, changed the resolution to all the options and all of my fences go back to the icons and even move off the screen. I have tried all of the settings within the layout and snapping sections of settings hoping that may work. Nothing seems to work. I do have a touch screen Lenovo Yoga and currently on Windows 10.
