Hey Neil, thanks for the fast response.
I'm running Windows 10 Home, and my hardware is an MSI GT73VR laptop with the following:
Processor: Intel Core i7-6820HK @ 2.70GHz with boost up to 3.6GHz
RAM: 32 GB
System Type: 64-bit OS and processor
Pen and Touch: None
All drivers are up to date.
I've been able to temporarily deal with the problem by using the 'Modern Style' start menu. While it functions the same as the 'Windows 7 Style', the 'Modern Style' isn't as easy to read because the entire menu has the same background color, as opposed to the 'Windows 7 Style' which gives the left and right columns of the menu different background colors. It may seem small, but it makes it much easier to take in. The magic of a well designed UI, I guess.
