Start10 Update 1.05 Broke My Win 10

Win10 Start Menu No Longer Comes Up

Just installed the update today.  Now, Win10 menu won't come up.  Tried changing Start10 configuration, to reverse start menu options.  Still doesn't work. Tried restarting Windows several times.

There should be no changes to have caused this problem with Start10.  It does not implement the Windows 10 menu and when in that mode simply lets the OS show the menu.

It is possible the act of installing the update (and thus rebooting) has exposed some other problem though.  Windows 10 has a known bug with the Windows 10 menu becoming non functional.

I would recommend contacting support@stardock.com for assistance.

I downloaded Start10 again, reinstalled, and now working OK.

I've just experienced precisely the same.  Updated from v1.02 to 1.05 and it has caused Windows 10 to fail to boot.  Following a System Restore and reinstall the same thing happened again so I'm now on the second System Restore and won't be installing the update again.

This would seem to be a totally different issue as the original post is nothing to do with a computer failing to boot.

I cannot explain why the update could possibly impact your computers ability to boot or not.
