Using v. 1.01 and now get an error trying to open Windows 10 menu. My notifications area will not open as well and things like the calculator do not respond either.Is this a bug in the newer version or was there a windows update known to cause such issues?Basically Windows is saying there is a problem with your start menu.

I have a simular problem with version 1.01. When I click on the Start button and than on 'Windows 10 menu', nothing happens. The Windows 10 menu is not showing. Also, the CTRL+Windows key is not working.
Anyone got an idea?

I did a system restore to an earlier point, redid the windows update and reinstalled start 10 and that seems to have worked for all of my issues. Still using the latest build.I think this is probably related to a windows update interaction of some sort. I mean even my notification area failed to respond. It may be an instability in Win 10 that just happened to mess the start menu, I can't really say.I just had no time to wait as I had stuff to get done and wanted this resolved.
Hmm, a system restore is not so handy for me, I do some development and I really don't know which one to take.
Better wait for the fix or swith of Start10 temporarely.

I do not believe this is anything to do with Start10.
The Windows 10 start menu is a universal app and from the sounds of it the OS has trashed itself which was a known problem Windows 8 had with Modern UI apps on occasion.
