When we can share designs, I'll post all my (good) designs so anyone can use them, and hopefully others will post the awesome designs I have seen on this forum. Designing the dragon, though, showed that the Designer still needs work: screwy hard points, wonky angles, things not lining up, a gizmo tool that doesn't always follow part rotations, zooming, display multiple rows of parts, etc. Not to mention I want to color individual parts (imagine the dragon with red, gold, and brown, and orange fire in the mouth).
For those who are interested, the body is Medium Thalan Model 91, back plates are small Thalan Model 76, horns are small Thalan Model 94, hands are large Iconian Model 86, and so on. Also, the way the ship is designed, it would be possible to animate it so the tail swings back and forth, the wings beat, and the head and arms move, but I felt that would take up too much memory. The non-proportional scale and offset tools in GC 3 open up SO many possibilities.
