Windows 8.1 + Latest Stardock Software Push = Desktop Corruption (Fences/WindowBlinds)

Icons jumbled in system tray/notification area

I routinely and regularly apply all Microsoft maintenance as it becomes available. Secondly, I apply Stardock software upgrades as they are pushed. In the last two weeks, I have been have horrible problems with my desktop and Windows explorer. Symptoms include the following:

1. tabs float above the window,

2. entire desktop has to be refreshed - I usually have to hit the context key on the desktop to force a complete refresh

3. system tray and icons in the notification area are jumbled and overlaid - BADLY!

4. I have put no new maintenance on my EVGA 660ti Nvidia graphics card.

5. lockups - mouse pointer when clicked just spins and spins,

6. Start8 button - GONE

7. No viruses - I run Malwarebytes, SpyBot Search and Destroy, and Norton.... scan frequently

I'm about to remove Object Desktop completely from my machine. The problems appear to be due to it.

Are there some know problems with the latest Microsoft service for which Object Desktop needs to be recoded/patched?

It is probably best to open a support ticket with us if you have not already.

Please download and run the following utility:

http://sd.stardock.com/SDSupportTool.exe

This is a tool that we use to gather relevant log files and basic information about your computer. Once the utility finishes running, please attach the .zip file it creates on the desktop when you create a ticket here.

Also, please reply with any screenshots that may help illustrate your issue(s).

Unfortunately, I can't upload any screen captures because the corruption precludes me from doing so. To "reset" my desktop, I right mouse button click on the desktop - typically anywhere outside of a fence. That causes the spinning circle to cause the screen to completely blank and then the desktop gets refreshed along with the system/notification tray.

I ran the diagnostic tool and have the zip file.
