The Lords of Discord - Trust the russians to do strategy

New kickstarter project that looks like the child of Heroes of Might and Magic and Kings Bounty. For some reason the russians loves these kind of games (at least to make em), and this project needs to happen. I grew up on Heroes of Might and Magic, but the last two versions are Triple A crap. Please help make this happen.

TBH this looks like a pretty serious rip off of Ubisoft's work; and the graphics look quite dated because of all the platforms they're targeting.

"Tribes of the East" was/is actually pretty good IMO, with some amazing mods as well.

However, more competition for the genre is never a bad thing.

 

Edit: Disciples 3 REINCARNATION ended up being pretty good too.

I would like to see a new HOMM like qame that captures the fun of HOMM2 and 3. I have pledged but I have a feeling they won't reach their target.

Kickstarter projects are very difficult to predict. An article in the right place might do all the difference

They have had a couple of people with huge contributions, so it might still happen. They need an article/interview or two to get people in the know. Kickstarter page is hopeless for finding stuff

they have had 2 backers at 3500 pounds - yikes! Still 50k short though.

This game is getting no attention Even on Kickstarter its hard to find. You can click on Staff picks forever and it does not come up. No articles anywhere either. And its looking sooo good. Unhappy smurf here
