The answer is "troll mentality." There is nothing helpful nor constructive about Reply 21.
I strongly disagree. I was saying that Stardock's formula and/or the implementation of their formula failed them, strongly. This is very true.
While I cannot know your motivation for certain, I doubt this; evidence strongly suggests otherwise.
Were you there when everyone was kissing Stardocks ass following the release of Elemental? Is that helpful?
You are welcome to express your dislike, but don't insult us by claiming your motivations are pure or your comments are helpful. if you feel the game is worthless, you are wasting your time...unless, of course, you enjoy getting negative feedback such as this one.
touche. To retort; my motivation is pure, and my comments are much stronger and more helpful than yours. I am fine with negative feedback.
My reply 24 also was not helpful nor constructive either, but it wasn't intended to be. It's goal was to point out how unhelpful, destructive, and ridiculous Reply 21 was.
I disagree with your appraisal of Reply 21
I agree that Elemental was not a good game. I agree with your right to dislike (and to express your dislike of) Fallen Enchantress. I agree that helpful, constructive criticism can be a good thing. What I can't agree with you is that tearing something (or someone) down is helpful, constructive, or evidence that you care.
I stated that the game was poor and then stated why it was poor. I didn't tear anyone down (in any tangibly unfair sense) in the slightest. Stardock knows that putting out good products will help them out. In the past they have shown a tendency to have a difficulty ascertaining the honest quality of their product. That is where we must help them.
This game has improved to the point where I would now rate it a solid 7/10. That is still pretty sh*tty.
There, I gave an honest appraisal.
