Dealing with dead links

I noticed that if there is a dead link in the start menu and you click on it nothing happen and the normal reaction from a start menu suppose to be returning a message telling you that the link is dead and asking you to browse and locate the file yourself or delete this dead link . This feature is missing in Start8 . hopefully it will be added in the next version.
