During the AI's turn I got two events: attacked by the wraiths and a diplomatic call ("we're being crushed, will you help?!") from the ironeers.  After clicking through a sort of disorienting pair of pop ups, I'm in the battle, seems like it's OK.  However as the battle is going on I click on one of the enemy unit portraits to get some more info about the unit and bam! ... suddenly I'm out of the battle and in the diplomacy screen.  Execute and conclude the diplomacy, but it sends me back to the strategy map, as if the battle wasn't taking place after all.  I try to move that squad that was involved in the battle, or bring some guys around to reinforce, but it's acting strange, they'll only use some of their moves.  The game doesn't want to end turn.  I save and reload from this same spot, which I've had to do occasion to force an end turn.  After reload it indeed allows me to press End turn now, but upon resuming play I get a crash on the next turn.
