Default Colour

Hi There!

 

I installed S8 on a brand new install of W8 Pro. One thing I can't seem to get right, is in explorer windows, everything looks very windows xp, and my ribbon is white and washed out. Would someone mind telling me what they have configured under "colour" and secondly what I can do to reset the whole application back to factory settings?

That should be nothing to do with Start8.

It looks like you have changed your OS colour under personalization to white.  You can access that by right clicking on your desktop, or from control panel.

If you mean the default colour in Start8, clicking Reset to automatic colour would make Start8 pickup your OS colour settings.

If you mean the colour in the OS colour dialog, pick the top left icon with the colour fan on it.  This is automatic and will pick a colour based on your wallpaper colour.
