The DesktopX format they use is well capable of dynamic sizes so I am as surprised as the next one that it wasn't used extensively. Then again I don't design UI, it just seems weird to limit the UI to ~1/4th of a screen for those with high resolution.
Scaling the UI has been something I'd love to see. Those teeny, tiny buttons make clicking around a pain. I understand the game needs to accommodate a lower resolution screen, but I wonder what percentage of folks use a low resolution.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed. There was a mention of UI improvements, which I'm hoping is more than just graphics but also the layout/buttons/size.
