Moving Fences & Taskbar

I'm enjoying the Fences 2 beta. There's one small nuisance that would be nice to have addressed. I keep my taskbar on the left side of my screen. With this configuration, I've not been able to move a fence to a new desktop on the left side. My work-around is to relocate my taskbar to the top or bottom, set up my fences as I want them, then put the taskbar back. It does the trick, but is a minor nuisance.

Go to your fences configuration.

Check the Desktop Pages section

See if "Switch Pages with Alt+Left / Alt+Right, or Alt+MouseWheel" is selected.

Hold the fence you want to move to a new Desktop Page. (check if you are actually moving it)

Press Alt+left (seeing that is the "issue side").
You should now be holding the Fence you wanted to move on the Desktop Page you wanted to move it to.

 

Hope this helps you without moving the taskbar itself.

The best way that works for me is by clicking down on your mouse wheel and dragging to one side or another. This can be done from any where on the screen.
