When I want to open an administrative console, I usually go start, type cmd, then press ctrl+shift+enter. This immediately brings up an administrative command prompt in windows 7.

In start8, this doesn't do anything at all. I'd like to see that feature added, in addition to other shortcuts available for that search box.

Also, when you right click on computer, the "manage" option to quickly bring up the computer management mmc isn't available, and (somebody mentioned this in another post, but it's worth bringing up here anyways) the properties option brings up properties for the link, rather than the system properties window a la windows 7.
