I thought I'd give Elemental another go on my old PC before moving on, so I installed 1.19. I noticed that the game moved a bit sluggish from screen to screen, right from the menu, in the character creation and so forth. In the game, it ran normally, until something new appeared on the screen, like a pop-up, or a area of influence expansion. This was a bit odd, since I run the game in the cloth map mode.

Then the screen went blank(i run it in a window), the video card reset, and the ATI Catalyst VPU Recovery informed me that the device stopped responding and had to be reset.

I checked trough the debug file of Elemental and it said it lost contact with the device

This hasn't happened before with Elemental, or any other game actually, apart from times when the temperature got to high and the VPU just shut it down. I don't think it was a temperature issue, since the fan only went to full power when it reset.
