[1.08b094 Beta] [Bugs/Suggestions] Short List of Bugs/Improvements

Just continued my save game and played 2 hours without crashes. So, I think you improved quite well and the game is quite fun.

I appreciate that you want to change some game concepts, but in my opinion it'd be better to really hunt down every small bug and to polish the ui so one can use the concepts that are alreadyl there in the best way.

Some Bugs:

- Bought a traveller's coat for my daughter. She got it on the picture, but she hadn't equipt it nor was I able to equip it because one could not see it in the inventory (but in the one you see in the shop)

- my cities lost population capacity (dropped down from 325 to 300 in 1-2 cities)

- found a magic book on a quest that hadn't any spells in it

Some suggestions for easy improvements

- show all resources that a city produces, I think if the sum is 0 you hide them?

- I need screens for: my trade, my wild resources, my cities, my heroes, my arranged marriages...

- I want to turn off the troop design of the pc

- I want to set the amount of resources etc. at game start (and everything else the forum folk has different opinion about)

- You really need to improve the ai (don't leave cities undefended especially at the beginning)

- The good people need good guys for spawned troops

Concepts:

- more interesting tactical combat

- more differentiation in races/factions

- better atmosphere in the role playing elements.

So, when is 1.09 ready? B)

2 more improvements:

- change between cities in build menu should be possible (look at all cities in a row)

- look at cities when you are allowed to upgrade them

And here further basic things that should be done:

Items:

- back in the Beta we had been able to swap items - I don't know how this works now?

- let me sell/drop every item I have in my inventory for every heroe I have

- I still don't know why you didn't chose a "normal" item-eqipment screen, where there is a character and you can equip the different items directly to the character, so you'd see which "places" are left.

- Add a text to items telling how many hands you need to hold them

Convenience

- let me have a flag to indicate that I want to have every unit queue up that doesn't has a defend/fortify order (so that I don't forget to give orders to my caravans and pioneers...)

Animation

- the ship movement is much too slow compared to that of land units

I like that you can research in the Adventurer section and get yourself goodie hats etc. in late game. One small change would improve the atmosphere: Don't say "needer level :3 your level:2". That's far too technical. At first reconsider if you want to show locations one could not yet use. Does that make sense? And independent from that decision swap the "level x" text with something like: harmless, dangerous etc...
