Went to buy the Platinum Edition, and there, like a three-year-old rotting fish, was the StarForce DRM.  

I've avoided this since an earlier version crashed my operating system so hard I had to do a clean install.  

I'm happy to use Impulse, but if the publisher insists on punishing me for being their customer, I'll have to pass.

well for me i cant even play it cause i kept getting an error reinstalling armored princess and now its disapeered off my list of games on stardock with no clue how to get it back to try and reinstall lol

My sentiments exactly. I'd actually added it to my cart and was about to *buy* the thing before I did a double-check and noticed the StarForce.

Funny that they create that crud to combat piracy and increase sales, when in reality they're losing sales of the more savvy gamers because of it instead.

Kings Bounty Armored Princess was a very fun game but now that I have a new computer using Windows 7 the game (and update) no longer work.  The compatability function is a complete waste of time as I have attempted every setting offered.  If anyone has an idea I would love to hear it but I would not recommend buying if you use Windows 7.

yup im having verification problems installing armored princess now worked fine on my old comp that had xp ..cant get it to install on this one been trying for two days straight now
