Update:  Crashed to desktop when starting a new game after abandoning the current game.  Hope this helps.

I too crash if I try to load a saved autosave game from within an active game, but if I re start and select load autosaved game, it usually seems to load up fine from the start menu.  Not sure if it is the same problem as yours, but it does sound like something's broke in the reload while in game department.  Not a game breaker, more of a nuisance for me.

Yep can't even play the game unless I start a new game.

This is happening with me for all saved games in the Campaign, except for the very first one which was the beginning of the campaign.  Sandbox saves are loading.  Tried reboot computer to clean memory. 

Unfortunately, I am still getting CTDs with saves that I made with 1.06.

Confirm a Crash After Reload in v1.06. Unfortunately, I immediately restared the game (I am having fun here ) and don't have the crash data files...
