Petition to release a hot fix to fix desync problems

There has been more and more desync problems lately. Blair has suggested to fix "99% of desync problems" to restart the game between matches.  Can the devs release  a patch to mimic the behavior of restarting the game without actually restarting the game between matches?

 

I understand the need to find the root problems of the desync but it would be nice to minimize the desyncs.

 

Anyone agree?

I wholeheartedly agree.

Strangely, the issues the entrenchment/diplomacy started occurring much more frequently after this last patch, so that would seem to indicate that that is where the problem lies. I still have not actually been able to even get near to the end of a multiplayer game of diplomacy (all of the times, starting sins up fresh). I will try to get on this weekend with a friend and download the desync kit so that we can try to get to the bottom of this. I would like to suggest that others try to do the same. It is kind of frustrating that such an awesome game as diplomacy has all the pacts and stuff, but I can't use them with other people. :P
