I've been involved in PC support for more that 12 years adn while many users like to have phone support, in surveys, they report that email is more effective.
Support teams are also able to address more issues more quickly using email. Just being able to get accurate data (screenshots, copy and pasted errors, logs) makes resolving problems much faster.
email = faster, better support. Everyone wins.

i have been emailing for weeks back and forth, only getting canned answers and not pertaining to me. this is too frustrating to waste all this time on a simple question. when i try to open programs in impulse i get SID not matched error msg. when i get my email of serial numbers now, there are no serial numbers showing , i disagree, we need to talk face to face here. not waiting two days for answers and then have to email again as the answer is a canned one
If there is a serial number problem one thing you can do is open Impulse and click on th (?) in the upper right hand corner and click on look up serial number. You will receive an email with everything that is associated with your account.
Alternatively... If you need to access your serial number to any product you own, just launch Impulse ( http://impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe ), click the question mark at the top right, and click "Register a product with Impulse." From here, you can right click any product and are able to copy your serial number (which you can then paste using Ctrl+V at any time.)
The "SID not matched" error refers to the sig.bin file that is either within your game/product directory or within a "local settings" directory (it depends on which app/game you're using). SID stands for "System ID", which is unique to each computer. If the SID within the sig.bin indicates it's not correct, you'll need to create another sig.bin. What you'll need to do is just delete the sig.bin and when you launch the app/game and reactivate it, it will recreate a proper sig.bin.
